Project Recyclable

Project Recyclable

In Covid 19 lock down, my class mates and I have to do a recyclable project. You can't buy any materials and you're allowed to use food. When our teacher told us about this, I thought it was great. I had already done an art project by recycling nuts and bolts, red plastic plates and a tomato garden stake. I made a poppy.

I cut the plate into a poppy shape then drew a little circle in the middle for the nut and bolt. I had to paint the nut and bolt black for the centre.

After that my dad cut the tomato garden stake, to be the stalk for the poppy, I wasn't  allowed to do it because sparks were flying everywhere from the grinder.

My dad put the nut and bolt in the stem and the middle of the poppy. Now were done.  We put it on the letter box for Anzac Day.

  1. This is amazing Jeana and so much work to make your Poppy, but very worth it. They are gorgous. You have made your writing very descriptive "especially the part "sparks were flying everywhere." This could be a great little business. Keep up the great writing.
