In Algebra this week I learnt that you always add the brackets first here are two examples (6x7)+4. First you multiply 6x7=42 then you add 42 and 4 together to get 46. Second example 4+ 5x2. Multiply 5x2=10 then 10+4=14 and that's the answer.

My Holidays
20 July My Holidays
In the first week of the holidays I went to El Rancho camp. This is a kids camp that you usually stay the night at but because of Covid we had to go home everyday. Since we didn't stay the night they could mix the teams so the girls and boys could be together. We had 4 girls, 5 boys and 3 leaders. Before morning tea we do this thing called session where we dance, do games and people tell stories about god. In the games you get points for your colour and the team with the most points wins the El Rancho log.
Since it was a winter camp we didn't do any water sports until one of my leaders jumped in a big puddle to get 1000 points for the green team. Most of the time I hung out with the boys and 2 girls because we all played tag and they were more like me. My favourite activities were discover El Rancho (It's kinda like a treasure hunt), archery ( Because I did a bet on it with one of my leaders) and cooking. We made our own pasta. The food there was delicious and a girl in my group was the head chef's daughter so we always knew what was for lunch. Camp was really fun!!!
After camp I stayed at home and watched a lot of Modern Family and did a lot of cleaning ( I do that when I'm bored).

My Weekend
My Weekend
In the weekend I had a double sleepover. We stayed at her house first and stayed in a inslulated house/container. Then we stayed at my house the next night. The next day we did a guess that food challenge where we had food in front of us and we had to guess what it was. After that I had to go because I had into the woods rehearsals. I'm in the play. The rehearsals are in Te Horo school hall. I play Cinderellas stepmother. We praticed the first scene which is the song into the woods. Here is a link for the song. At 4:30 the chorus had to leave and the speaking parts had to practice the song and the dance more. At 5:30 I had to go home and when I got home I read my book.

Covid 19- More Cases
New Zealand is in now in level 1 but has 2 new cases. 2 ladies from the UK came here with Covid they were family members and came here together.
WHEN did we go in level 1
As of the 8th of June we went into level 1
HOW long have we been Covid free
24 days
WHY did we go into level 1 if we had 2 cases
At the time we had none
WHO announced that we were going into level 1
Jacinda Ardern and Ashley Bloomfield
WILL we go into level 2 again because of the cases
Were not quiet sure

Going On The Radio
This is a really important event for me because it was a life time opportunity. Unless your work is talking on a radio. On the 4th of March 2019 I went on the radio. I was promoting Skids (Safe Kids In Daily Supervision) a before and after school programme that looks after kids. I was on radio specifically to promote the cooking class after school. I was on radio New Zealand, the person who was talking was Kathryn Ryan. I had to make a rap selfie of her while I was talking into the mic. Here's what I made

Covid 19 Highlights
Covid 19 Highlights
I'm going to write about my highlights that happened in Covid 19 level 4 and 3.
LEVEL 4
On March the 31st I turned 11. I had a bubble birthday, I didn't get much presents and I didn't get to spend time with my family. But I did get heaps of texts and phone calls all day. My second highlight is that all through level 4 my big sister stayed with us. She doesn't live with because she is 24. She thought she would stay with us to help us because my mum (My mum is her step mum, we have the same dad) just broke her arm about a week before lockdown.
LEVEL 3
In level 3 I got to go on walks with my mum and we would go and visit my friends. I would always be more than 2 metres away. I don't really have any other highlights for level 3.
